Shalimar is a traditional gulet

Built on the Black Sea as a traditional Turkish gulet, she is privately owned and British registered. Cruising from Fethiye you will be centred on reputedly one of the most ancient and beautiful coastlines of the world.

With 20 metres of boat, there is comfortable VIP accommodation for six guests, one master double cabin, plus three double cabins, all air-conditioned, with private W/C and showers.

There are separate crew quarters.

Our policy is that you, as the clients, hire the whole boat. This means you have the luxury of choosing your sailing companions.

The Crew on Shalimar

This lovely chestnut and mahogany boat has been refurbished in 2005 for VIP charters, by Chrissie Pearcey, an artist designer with an international reputation. Her hand-cut mosaic work adorns the new Cunard ship Queen Mary 2.

Chrissie speaks fluent French (and English of course) and is on hand to welcome you aboard and introduce you to the Kaptan and crew. When schedules permit, Chrissie is on board as your hostess to ensure that your Turkish cruise with Shalimar is unique.
